Welcome
to The Chapel Door. We are a community of faith with an open
door. We gather for Bible Study at 9:45 a.m. and Worship at 11:00 a.m.
every Sunday morning. Our worship style is born out of a congregational
tradition rich with the hymns of faith, the reading of Holy Scripture,
seasons of prayer, musical reflections, a message grounded in Scripture,
and opportunities for personal renewal in an authentic relationship
with God. We have discovered a way to celebrate liturgy in a warm and
reflective atmosphere of personal and corporate worship.
On February 16, 2004 we secured land for our future home site and in
late November 2007 our modular buildings arrived in Fairview. We moved
to our permanent location upon completion of the construction and land
development in the summer of 2008. It is located at 32 Joe Jenkins Road
across from Angelo's Restaurant just off Highway 74-A in Fairview. We
invite you to join us for study and worship. Click

Young
families enrich our church with enthusiasm, energy and deep commitment.
Children enjoy Sunday School, choir, serving as Altar Servers in worship,
and participating in special activities. Youth and adults bring a variety
of interests, experiences, and gifts to our family of faith. Small group
studies, mission projects, leadership opportunities, and thoughtful
discussions result in meaningful relationships with each other and a
deeper, more authentic relationship with God.
As
an ecumenical congregation, we welcome all varieties of faith
traditions: Presbyterian, Methodist, Baptist, Catholic, Episcopalian,
Moravian, Lutheran, etc. who profess Jesus Christ as Lord. Our door
is open to all of God's children. Our church is inclusive of all people
without regard to political affiliation, socioeconomic status, sexual
orientation, gender, race, or ethnic origin. As the body of Christ we
seek to be united in love, prayers, mission endeavors, and evangelistic
efforts without compromising basic Christian ideals. We are fulfilling
our call to be instruments in God's great plan to love and accept all
people into the family of God. We welcome your interest, your inquiries
and your prayers as we take these early steps of faith. Thank you for
visiting us online. Please visit us in person at your earliest convenience.
